With a formal background in cinematography and directing, I’ve spent nearly 2 decades immersed in the film industry–on both the production and business sides–personally shooting, acquiring and distributing over 100 films into the marketplace. Within those years, I also explored an array of diverse fields, from working in specialty coffee and organizing immersive food experiences with renowned chefs, to recording albums and launching a VR startup. These encounters have been vital in expanding my views on life, creativity, people and places. They’ve introduced me to remarkable individuals and unique perspectives, shaping my decision-making and deepening my appreciation for the stories that each of us has to tell.

With people and stories as my north star, my camera is always by my side, and the photos I’ve taken throughout my life are among my most meaningful works. I believe the best photos trigger a sensory response that transports you to a specific time and place: the mood, the smell of the air that day, the sounds filling the space, what you were wearing and eating... I’m feverishly attracted to authenticity and capturing real moments: everyday people in their everyday environments, vintage cars, beautifully designed spaces and street photography.

After spending 13 creative years in Los Angeles, my wife and I relocated to Cleveland in 2020.
